Not a buy for now. Wait till the next Trump tantrum or pandemic or financial crisis to buy.

🌟🌟🌟With Nvidia $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ blazing ahead as the undisputed AI Chip Titan, it is tempting to think that AMD $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ and $Broadcom(AVGO)$ are forever in its shadow.  But the reality is more nuanced and more exciting. Nvidia owns 90% of the AI training chip market but its sheer size may mean future growth may slow down. AMD is gaining traction in AI inference where performance per watt may matter more than volume.  It won't dethrone Nvidia but it is carving out a profitable niche. Broadcom isn't chasing Nvidia's GPU crown.  It is building bespoke chips for hyperscalers. Its ASICs are more efficient and tailored making Broad

AMD’s China Surge: Your Second Chance at the AI Chip Boom?

Advanced Micro Devices ( $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ ) is stealing the spotlight, soaring 6% to $185.50 on July 15, 2025, after the U.S. approved resumed sales of its MI308 AI chips to China, a move that could unlock $2-$3 billion in revenue. Meanwhile, Broadcom ( $Broadcom(AVGO)$ ) hit a new high with its Tomahawk Ultra chip, positioning itself as a formidable Nvidia rival, while the chip sector rides a wave of AI-driven demand. For investors who missed Nvidia’s meteoric rise to a $4 trillion market cap, AMD, TSMC, and BYD offer compelling opportunities in AI, auto, and China’s chip market. But which stocks have the most upside, and which sectors should you bet on? This report dives into AMD’s rally, Br

Perspective on AMD’s Rise and Chip Stock Investment Opportunities $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ AMD’s Strong Performance AMD’s stock surged 6% following the announcement of restarting MI308 chip sales to China after a U.S. review. This move highlights AMD’s competitive edge in the AI and data center markets, potentially easing prior pressures from U.S. export restrictions. It positions AMD as a viable contender to fill the investment gap left by Nvidia’s market dominance, especially for those who missed Nvidia’s rally. Broadcom’s Breakthrough and the Chip Stock Rally Broadcom hit a new high with its Tomahawk Ultra chip, challenging Nvidia and further fueling the chip stock rally. Nvidia’s boom has led the sector, with surging AI demand boosting com

I believe AMD and Broadcom still have room to run, even as Nvidia leads the rally. AMD's recent surge, upcoming AI event, and stock buyback show renewed investor confidence. With a potential Golden Cross forming, the momentum is strong. While it still trails Nvidia in some areas, AMD is gaining ground as AI demand expands beyond just GPUs. Broadcom’s launch of the Tomahawk Ultra is a bold move, offering an Ethernet-based alternative to Nvidia’s NVLink. With the ability to connect more processors, Broadcom is well-positioned to benefit from the rising demand for AI infrastructure. It is showing that it can compete by focusing on system-level innovation. Although I respect Nvidia’s dominance, I prefer not to invest only in the top name. Spreading investments across key players like AMD and

I believe big companies will have 1-2 alternative sources so other chip companies like amd and broadcom still have some rooms. Those mid and lower tier companies with smaller budget may also opt for non Nvidia solutions so the market is still profitable for other chip providers.
