AMD remains a solid buy for investors who missed NVIDIA’s explosive AI-driven rally. While it doesn’t have NVIDIA’s dominance in the AI training space, AMD is gaining traction with its MI300 chips, especially in AI inference and data centers. Its more attractive valuation, diversified business across CPUs, GPUs, and custom chips, and strong leadership under Dr. Lisa Su make it a credible long-term growth play.  However, it still faces tough competition and must prove it can scale in the AI market. Overall, AMD offers high potential with more reasonable risk than chasing NVIDIA at its peak.

With a potential Golden Cross forming, the momentum is strong. While it still trails Nvidia in some areas, AMD is gaining ground as AI demand expands beyond just GPUs. AMD's Potential: The 6% jump in AMD stock is a solid reaction to the positive regulatory development, but the real test will be the continued geopolitical dynamics and whether they can hold onto this momentum. AMD has been making strides, but Nvidia's dominance in the AI space is hard to match. Still, AMD has a strong position in the data center and gaming industries, so there’s room for growth. Broadcom's Position: Broadcom is stepping up with the Tomahawk Ultra chip, and this is a solid move to diversify away from Nvidia's grip. While Nvidia is undeniably strong in the AI market, Broadcom has a history of innovation and strong partnerships. If Broadcom can successfully carve out a niche in AI, it could see significant upside. Chip Stock Rally: The rally is primarily driven by AI optimism

Micron’s Mega Memory Moment: Has the Chip Already Cashed In?

MU crushes earnings, but with shares up 50% YTD, is it time to trade smart rather than dream big? Let’s start with the good news—Micron Technology just served up a sizzling quarter. Q3 FY25 revenue came in at a record $9.3 billion, comfortably beating the $8.87 billion expected and representing a 37% year-on-year jump. That’s not just good; that’s ‘grab-a-pint-and-toast-the-chips’ good. The market initially celebrated with a cheer (an 8% after-hours pop), but then, like a tech bro who realises the AI hype train might need brakes, it sobered up. Shares settled back down, closing 1% lower. Why? The rally’s real. But is gravity sharpening its pencil? Because this isn’t MU’s first rodeo. The stock has already surged nearly 50% this year, and if you’ve been holding since the bleak days near $61
