Has Crude Oil’s Primary Downleg Begun Following the Rate Hike?A Technical Analysis📈💰
The market is currently pricing in a 25-basis-point initial rate hike with a high degree of confidence, and this expectation has already been largely reflected in equity prices. The main drivers are inflationary pressure from higher energy prices and Waller’s relatively hawkish remarks. $美国原油ETF(USO)$$WTI原油主连 2611(CLmain)$$微型WTI原油主连 2611(MCLmain)$ This would mark the first rate hike in years, against the backdrop of energy-driven inflation stemming from the Middle East conflict.$布油现金主连 2612(BZmain)$
On Monday (September 21), spot gold traded in a range before falling, briefly breaking below the key support level of 4,335 and hitting an intraday low of around $4,322 per ounce. It ultimately closed at $4,343.70, down 0.78%. Gold futures also weakened, closing down nearly 0.9%. The U.S. Dollar Index continued its upward trend, driven by expectations of further monetary tightening by the Federal Reserve, becoming the primary force weighing on gold prices. Meanwhile, geopolitical tensions in the Middle East continued to escalate, and the interplay between energy price volatility and inflation expectations significantly eroded gold’s appeal as a traditional safe-haven and anti-inflation asset in a high-interest-rate environment. In early Asian trading on Tuesday (September 22), easing infla

I told you last week... BUY THE DIP. Look at where we are now. $S&P 500(.SPX)$ is 60 points from all time highs $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ is 7 pts from all time highs. If QQQ breaks 748 we're going to see a melt up to 800. $SPX to 8000 coming if it gets through 7800. The market consolidated for almost 4 months. It's priming for the next leg higher in Q4. $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ to 650, $ARM Holdings(ARM)$ to 350 in play. $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ lets see if it rips 800 by next week.
🔥 Friday’s memory rally was bigger than just SNDK — and that’s exactly why I’m still bullish on the memory trade. At first glance, SNDK’s +10.99% looks misleading because the move was heavily amplified by its upcoming S&P 100 inclusion. And yes, index inclusion creates forced/passive buying flows, not fundamental memory demand. So I wouldn’t count the entire +10.99% as evidence of stronger memory fundamentals. But here’s the important part: take SNDK out of the equation and the memory complex was STILL green. MU gained +3.92%, breaking back above $1,000, while SK Hynix added +2.46%. That synchronized movement matters much more to me than SNDK’s headline gain. 📌 This is the key distinction: SNDK had an extra catalyst, but the sector itself didn’t need that catalyst to move. If this were
Oil is easing—but has the Hormuz supply shock really eased? If you saw my previous post, you’ll know I’m watching for mean reversion in oil. Today’s move is encouraging for that thesis: USO was recently around $148.23, down $5.59 (3.63%), while WTI also fell sharply. One possible reason: more Middle Eastern crude is still finding ways to reach buyers, despite the disruption. Saudi Arabia has reportedly increased exports through Hormuz after its East–West Pipeline was attacked. Reuters reported that 22 tankers carrying around 42 million barrels exited the strait during the week of September 13. But the wider picture is still far from normal: just 17 commodity vessels transited over the weekend, compared with roughly 125 vessels a day before the war. Tanker availability and shipping costs al
AI stocks are rallying again. But there’s another trade quietly getting interesting: cybersecurity. $CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc.(CRWD)$ jumped around 4% Monday as investors focused on the growing security risks created by increasingly capable AI systems. The interesting part? AI doesn’t just create productivity. It also gives attackers more powerful tools. That could mean more demand for: 🔐 Endpoint protection 🤖 AI-driven threat detection 🪪 Identity security ⚡ Faster automated response CrowdStrike sits directly in the endpoint-security layer, making it one of the names I’m watching as the AI adoption story expands beyond chips and data centres. But there’s a catch: today’s move is based largely on expectations, not a sudden change in r
## $Intel (INTC) Surged +12.14%: Foundry Revival Ignites Breakout, $125–$130 Range in Sight
📊 Market Recap Intel ('INTC') closed at $121.78 on September 22, 2026, up +12.14% on massive turnover of 189 million shares. The stock gapped from the prior close of $108.60 and ran to an intraday high of $124.73, ending just 14.4% below its 52-week high of $142.35 and far above the 52-week low of $28.73. With a volume ratio of 1.51 and a 9.02% intraday range, price action suggests an institutional repositioning breakout rather than a routine technical bounce. 🚀 Key Drivers Foundry traction narrative: Renewed confidence in Intel's foundry and advanced packaging roadmap has shifted the story from turnaround risk to growth optionality, triggering broad accumulation. Momentum and short covering: Short volume jumped to 26.42 million shares on September 18 with a short volume ratio of 15.10%, a
🚨 MSTR ISN’T JUST BITCOIN ANYMORE — AND THAT’S THE INTERESTING PART
Bitcoin is back above $85K, but the bigger story may be what’s happening around the Bitcoin ecosystem. Strategy $Strategy(MSTR)$ just bought another 950 BTC for $75.7M, taking its total holdings to 846,000 BTC — roughly 4% of Bitcoin’s eventual 21M supply. But here’s the detail I find more interesting: Strategy spent $174M buying back its own STRC preferred shares during the same period — more than twice what it spent on Bitcoin. And it didn’t sell MSTR shares through its ATM program. That changes the conversation. MSTR isn’t simply: Bitcoin price → MSTR price It’s becoming a much more complicated equation involving: ₿ Bitcoin holdings 💰 Capital structure 📈 BTC per share 🏦 Preferred securities 🔄 Share issuance/buybacks 🎯 Investor ex
🚗 STOCK TO WATCH TODAY: $AZO — THE MARKET IS ABOUT TO TEST THE CONSUMER
I’m watching something much more boring today: $AutoZone(AZO)$ $AZO is reporting earnings today, putting the auto-parts retailer directly in the spotlight. Why is this interesting? Because AutoZone can give us another read on the U.S. consumer. When people keep older cars instead of buying new ones, repairs and maintenance can become more important. At the same time, inflation and household budgets are forcing consumers to think harder about where they spend. So the questions I’m watching tonight: 🔧 Are DIY customers still spending? 🚗 Is demand for vehicle maintenance holding up? 💰 How are margins dealing with cost pressure? 📈 What does management say about the consumer? The stock is also trading near recent lows, so expectations matter. A
🔥 FLAT INDEX. BIG ROTATION. WHERE DID THE MONEY GO?
Friday looked almost boring on the surface. But underneath? Not so much. It was quarterly triple witching — with index futures, index options and single-stock options expiring together — so volume and positioning were likely playing a bigger role than usual. The headline indexes barely told the story. $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ gained around 0.6%, while the S&P 500 finished close to flat. But semiconductor stocks were much stronger, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index up nearly 3%. Meanwhile, several mega-cap names went the other way: 🔻 $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ -2.4% 🔻 $Oracle(ORCL)$ -2.0% 🔻
U.S. Stocks Surge as Crude Oil Drops, Treasury Yields Retreat, and AI Hardware Giants Accelerate Market Rally
U.S. stocks rallied significantly on Monday, September 21, 2026, driven by falling oil prices, retreating Treasury yields, and a surge in artificial intelligence and semiconductor heavyweights. In this article, we would like to look at the macro drivers (which is the catalyst trinity), look at a comprehensive sector by sector performance, we will be also looking at key individual stock movers and corporate catalysts, semiconductor architecture and AI supply chain dynamics, fixed income, commodities and currency dynamics and market outlook and institutional positioning. I am holding these tech stocks comprising of semiconductors, memory and software. 1. MACRO DRIVERS: THE CATALYST TRINITY Monday’s market action represented a classic "risk-on" impulse fueled by a simultaneous unwinding of in
🎄🐶 Options Puppy Beginner Guide: When the Market Is at Highs, I Look at the Stocks and ETFs Everyone Has Rotated Out Of TigerTrade
📈 I don’t chase the market when everything is flying. When the major indexes are near all-time highs, I know it can be tempting to jump into whatever is already running. But that is not how I like to invest. My Options Puppy approach is simple: when the market becomes expensive and crowded, I start looking for the stocks and ETFs that have been rotated out of instead. 🐶💰 🔄 What does “rotated out” mean? It simply means investors have moved money away from a particular stock, sector or ETF and into another part of the market. It does not automatically mean the stock is cheap or that it will rebound. Sometimes investors rotate out because the business has genuine problems. My job is therefore not to blindly buy the loser. My job is to ask: “Has the price fallen more than the underlying busine
$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ a covered call that went wrong. Sold a covered call just before AMD decided to sky rocket on me. Rolling the call couple of times with higher strike and further out hoping for the stock to pull back. Pull back it never did. It's almost impossible to roll anymore. No point holding. Thus decided to just take whatever profit and move on.
$AMD 20260918 250.0 CALL$ While this looks like the profit I have gotten, it's actually the opposite, since this is a covered call that went horribly wrong on me, the amount reflected is actually profit that I've missed out on 🤯. Well it is what it is. 😩😤
