$NEBIUS(NBIS)$ Is this stock a buy now?  My take: Cautiously bullish, but I wouldn’t go all-in. Nebius Group (NASDAQ: NBIS) is one of the more interesting ways to invest in the AI infrastructure boom. It provides GPU computing capacity and cloud services for AI workloads. My verdict as of October 20, 2026: NBIS is worth considering for a long-term growth portfolio, but the upcoming earnings report makes the timing tricky. The stock has recently pulled back significantly, which could create an opportunity. However, its enormous infrastructure spending and demanding valuation mean that a cheaper share price doesn’t automatically make it a bargain. 1. What’s happening with NBIS right now? $Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF(VTI)$ why I want to take VTi seriously?  I take VTI seriously because it solves a different investment problem from buying individual stocks like NBIS. With NBIS, you’re betting that one company will execute exceptionally well in the AI infrastructure market. With VTI, you’re betting that American businesses, collectively, will continue creating value over the long term. Neither is automatically better. It depends on whether your priority is maximising potential returns or building wealth reliably over time. 1. What exactly are you buying with VTI? Buying the Dip? I Am Buying Earnings, Not Red Candles.

The market has finally given investors something we have not had much of this year: Better prices. But a stock falling 10% does not automatically make it 10% more attractive. My rule for this dip is simple: Buy companies where the price has deteriorated faster than the business. Right now, my shopping list is MU, NVDA, META, CRCL and QQQ, but at very different levels. 🥇 MU: MY HIGHEST-CONVICTION DIP BUY Micron has been hit by the combination of memory-cycle fears, CXMT concerns and the broader technology selloff. But the question is whether HBM demand and earnings power have deteriorated as quickly as the share price. I do not think they have. 🚦 My levels 🟡 $860-$890: Starter position 🟢 $800-$840: Preferred Pick 🟢 $740-$790: Strong Pick 🔴 Below $740: Reassess the thesis If MU reaches $800-

TOPAlvinBell: MU is the cleaner buy only if memory pricing holds up. If guidance cracks, HBM demand alone does not carry that capex cycle.

A Stalemate, With Big Swings Coming for META

Semiconductors have fallen to a fairly meaningful support level. For more downside from here, they need to break below it with conviction. For upside, they need to hold the support. So the big orders opened Friday were very extreme: buying short-term deep out-of-the-money puts, the kind that cost a dime or two. The upside is that if the market crashes at Monday's open, they double right away. The other upside is that if the market opens higher, you only lose a little. It's a bet with almost no downside. But from other players' point of view, when big buy orders are very cheap, it usually means the direction they're betting on is seen as low probability. Another less cheap bearish play is buying out-of-the-money puts, say expiring next year. That works better for positioning before a crash,

Weekly Options Strategy Preview | Bottoming Out or More Downside?

1. This Week's Market Overview US stocks face a triple test: hotter inflation, pressure on AI financing, and earnings that need to prove the story. September CPI rose to 3.7%, and higher oil prices made the market rethink Fed rate-hike risk. Meanwhile, funding costs for AI cloud companies like CoreWeave are climbing. Investors are starting to ask: can huge AI spending actually turn into enough revenue and profit? Semiconductors fell for eight straight days, showing money is rethinking the growth premium on AI hardware. But the market isn't fully bearish: companies with AI platforms and ways to make money from products, like META and GOOGL, still have bright spots. Money is also moving into defensive sectors like healthcare. The key this week isn't whether AI demand exists. It's whether AI

Apple's $1,999 iPhone Duo Is Not Really a Phone Launch. It Is a Test of How Much Pricing Power Apple Still Has.

Apple is entering a category it has avoided for years: foldables. At $1,999, the iPhone Duo does not need to become Apple's highest-volume iPhone to succeed. It needs to do three things: Raise ASP → pull premium users into another upgrade cycle → deepen the Apple ecosystem. That is why I think investors watching only preorder numbers may miss the bigger story. 🔵 WHAT I AM WATCHING FIRST: DUO ORDERS Apple closed around $342 after initially responding positively to the launch. For the next few weeks, the first question is simple: Does a $1,999 iPhone sell without heavy discounting? A strong launch would demonstrate something increasingly valuable in a mature smartphone market: Apple can still manufacture an upgrade cycle through form factor, not merely faster processors and better cameras. B

CoreWeave Just Fell 12%. This Is No Longer an AI Demand Question, It Is a Credit Question.

CoreWeave fell 11.91% Friday to roughly $63, and I think investors focusing only on GPU demand are looking at the wrong variable. Demand is not CoreWeave's immediate problem. CoreWeave reported a $104 billion revenue backlog at the end of Q2, before more than $25 billion of additional early-Q3 commitments. Recent capacity has also been contracted at higher prices. The problem is what it costs to finance all that growth. CoreWeave bonds that were issued around a 9.7% yield in June recently traded near 15%. That changes the equation. AI demand can remain spectacular while the equity performs terribly if the cost of funding the infrastructure rises faster than its economics improve. 🔴 THE NUMBER I CARE ABOUT IS NOT GPU ORDERS CoreWeave needs enormous capital before much of its contracted reve

October Curse Meets CPI Black Swan: Options Strategies to Hedge U.S. Equity Risk

Most of us assumed that CPI and the other data releases would stay relatively tame heading into the US midterms. Instead, the numbers came in hot. September CPI rose 3.7% year over year, a five-month high and above the 3.6% the market was looking for. The bigger surprise was core CPI, which strips out food and energy: it climbed to 2.6% year over year, also ahead of expectations and up from 2.4% the month before. As things stand, the market is already pricing in another Fed hike before year-end — CME's FedWatch Tool puts the odds at close to 90%. The most direct casualty of a higher-for-longer rate environment driven by sticky inflation is the cohort of tech companies that fund their capital spending with debt. To lock in the computing capacity that the next phase of AI development demands

TOP苏36: 🔥Deluge IPO: Strong Demand, but Can Profits Recover? $Deluge Corporation Limited(9DC.SI)$ attracted strong IPO demand, with its public tranche oversubscribed 11.97 times. However, the real question is whether it can turn orders into sustainable profits. Deluge reported approximately S$433 million in outstanding orders, around 3.7 times FY2026 revenue. This provides visibility, but project costs and delayed payments could pressure cash flow. FY2026 revenue declined 16.5% to S$116.66 million, while attributable profit fell 42.4% to S$8.68 million. Encouragingly, gross margin improved from 30.4% to 33.2%. At S$0.60, the IPO price implies roughly 10 times historical earnings. I remain cautiously optimistic, but would prioritize earnings recovery and cash flow over IPO hype. 🚨 SpaceX, Meta & Tesla: Three Earnings Reports That Could Change the AI Story

AI spending is booming. But where are the returns? After a difficult week for technology stocks, Wall Street faces an important test. Investors are no longer satisfied with ambitious AI plans and rising infrastructure spending. They want evidence that those investments can generate sustainable revenue, profits and cash flow.
