90K Call Contracts Opened — Are Bulls Starting to Buy the Dip?

It's been tough, but we finally got a big call order. A bounce needs big call orders underneath it. But then again, just because there are big call orders doesn't mean it's time to be bullish. The January-expiry DRAM 60 call, $DRAM 20270115 60.0 CALL$ , opened 87K contracts on Monday, with about $16M+ traded. This order is the real deal: out-of-the-money strike, nearly 100K contracts opened, over $10M traded. That's a serious bet on a bounce. The strike is out of the money, at the level where the early-October drop started. That means the bounce target isn't very high. But if a real bounce starts, it could be enough to take SPY to 800. Of course, Monday's weak bounce wasn't just bulls. SOXX opened the Oct 30 expiry 360 pu

Buying the Dip? CRWD Is on My Radar 👀 Market’s pulling back, and I’m looking for opportunities instead of panicking over the red numbers. One stock I’m watching is CrowdStrike (CRWD). With AI and cloud adoption growing, cybersecurity isn’t going away anytime soon. I still like the long term story. But a good company doesn’t automatically mean a good buy. CRWD can still be expensive even after a pullback, so I’m not rushing in just because the price is down. My plan? Watch the valuation and fundamentals, and consider buying gradually if the price becomes more attractive. No need to catch the exact bottom or go all-in too early. For me, buying the dip is about having a plan, not buying every stock that turns red.

The recent sell-off reflected the fear of the AI/Tech industry over spending and the likelihood of a rate hike. The Semi-conductor/chip industry in particular took one of the hardest hit. But this is also one industry that's profiting like never before.  I think the recent pullback is a good opportunity for investors to enter if the price fell below your ideal valuation target. There's still more room to run no matter if the fed gonna hike rates or not. I'm investing for the long term, hence I snapped up some stocks that's part of the chip industry which is propelling the AI run. You can never time the market but you can always average down your cost along the way 🙌

$NVIDIA(NVDA)$   $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$   $Intel(INTC)$   The pattern matters more than any single name. The deepest drops are in the most AI-leveraged, highest-beta stocks. That looks like de-risking of the AI capex trade, not a broad flight from quality. Memory Stocks: The Real Test Is Pricing Power, Not AI Hype 📈

Memory stocks are rebounding ahead of Micron Technology’s October 21 technology webinar. Micron gained 2.97%, SanDisk climbed 5.53%, and SK Hynix rose 4.67%. The market is watching for updates on DRAM, high-bandwidth memory (HBM), NAND and the growing memory requirements of AI infrastructure. But there is a bigger question worth asking: Can memory manufacturers turn strong AI demand into lasting pricing power? AI systems need more than powerful processors. They also require fast memory to feed data to those processors and storage to retain increasingly large amounts of information. That creates opportunities across the memory industry, but the companies operate in different markets and face different competitive pressures. 🔹 $Micron Technology(MU)$

When the market falls, I choose to be greedy in the sense of seeing opportunity rather than giving in to fear. A market drop often means quality stocks are available at discounted prices, and this is when long-term investors can accumulate good positions. While fear may push others to sell, maintaining a clear strategy and a calm mindset allows me to act with confidence and patience. In short, a falling market is a reminder to stay rational, stick to my investment plan, and take advantage of the opportunities that volatility creates.

🐯 💰 Nvidia GTC Berlin: Can AI Chips and Memory Stocks Extend Their Rebound?

Semiconductor stocks are recovering from a sharp selloff, while $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ 's upcoming keynote and Micron's record earnings put the AI supply chain back in focus. Hey Tigers! 🐯 After eight consecutive sessions of losses, semiconductor stocks finally rebounded on October 19. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index (SOX) gained 1.6%, snapping a losing streak that had wiped approximately 15.7% off the index. The recovery comes just as Nvidia's GTC Berlin 2026 gets underway, with CEO Jensen Huang's keynote scheduled for October 21. Meanwhile, Micron's record earnings and strong demand for AI memory chips are providing further evidence of growth across the semiconductor supply chain. Can upcoming AI announcements and earnings turn this rebound into a
🐯 💰 Nvidia GTC Berlin: Can AI Chips and Memory Stocks Extend Their Rebound?
TOPJerry Lam: I choose B: Micron (MU). If we're discussing a sustained rebound rather than a single-day explosive growth, I believe Micron's fundamental catalysts are easier to quantify and verify. NVDA remains the core leader in AI computing power, but the positive effects of the GTC new product launch may have already been partially reflected in the valuation. In contrast, Micron benefits from growing demand for HBM, while changes in DRAM and NAND prices can more directly impact revenue and profit margins. I focus on three key indicators: ① Whether HBM's production capacity is locked in by long-term orders; ② Can DRAM and NAND prices remain strong? ③ Whether gross profit margin and earnings guidance for the next quarter will continue to improve. However, strong demand for HBM does not mean that the entire storage industry will always be in an upward cycle. If manufacturers concentrate on expanding production, there may still be increased supply, falling prices, and downward revisions to profit expectations in the future. In addition, it is recommended to verify the original financial statements for Micron's financial data in the post, especially to distinguish between quarterly revenue, operating cash flow and different units of measurement, to avoid overestimating growth due to incorrect data caliber. My assessment is that NVDA determines the potential of the AI industry, while MU directly reflects whether AI demand can be translated into actual profits for the storage industry. Strategically, I would wait for the pullback to stabilize before buying MU in batches, rather than chasing the highs after a continuous surge. What truly supports a sustained rebound will ultimately be upward earnings revisions, rather than short-term market sentiment. 🐯

Memory Stocks Are Rebounding — Is the AI Memory Boom Just Getting Started?

Memory stocks are back in the spotlight ahead of Micron Technology’s October 21 technology webinar. Micron rose 2.97%, SanDisk gained 5.53%, and SK Hynix climbed 4.67%. The gains have renewed interest in a sector benefiting from the growing demand for AI infrastructure. But the important question is whether this rally has further room to run or whether investors are getting ahead of themselves. 🔹 1. $Micron Technology(MU)$ :The HBM Opportunity High-bandwidth memory (HBM) has become an important component of advanced AI accelerators. As AI models grow more complex, the demand for faster memory and greater bandwidth continues to increase. Micron’s upcoming webinar will cover DRAM, HBM, NAND and next-generation AI infrastructure requirements. Inve

GTC Berlin: The Next AI Rally Depends on More Than Nvidia

AI chip stocks are rebounding ahead of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang’s October 21 keynote at GTC Berlin. Nvidia gained 1.38%, Marvell rose 4.06%, AMD climbed 1.76%, and Broadcom advanced 1.78%. The market is watching for new signals about AI infrastructure, accelerated computing, AI agents and physical AI. SpaceX, Meta and Tesla: The AI Spending Reality Check

Three companies. Three very different businesses. One question investors cannot ignore: When will massive investments in AI translate into sustainable returns? SpaceX, Meta and Tesla are heading into a crucial earnings period, with investors looking beyond headline revenue and earnings to assess their longer-term growth potential. SpaceX reports its third-quarter results on October 20, followed by Meta and Tesla on October 21. Micron’s Webinar Could Decide Whether the Memory Rebound Has Legs. I Am Watching HBM, Not the Headlines.

Memory stocks finally bounced. MU rose 2.97%, SanDisk 5.53% and SK Hynix 4.67% ahead of Micron's 21 October technology webinar. But MU is already indicated around $883 pre-market, down roughly 2.4%. So Wednesday's webinar arrives at an important moment. The market is asking whether the recent memory selloff was an overreaction, or the beginning of a genuine repricing of the cycle. My answer: HBM still looks structurally strong. Conventional memory is where I would watch the risk. 🔵 WHAT WOULD ACTUALLY MOVE MU? Micron is expected to discuss its multigenerational roadmap across DRAM, HBM and NAND, plus customer co-design and the memory requirements of next-generation AI infrastructure. I would ignore generic statements about AI demand. I want three things. 1. HBM roadmap Anything reinforcing

SpaceX, Meta and Tesla: Three Earnings Reports, One Big Question 📊

Can a company be growing rapidly and still disappoint investors? This week offers an interesting test. SpaceX, Meta and Tesla are facing different business challenges, but all three must convince the market that their investments can deliver meaningful financial returns. Ahead of earnings, SpaceX gained 1.32%, Tesla climbed 3.76%, and Meta slipped 0.55%, according to the market snapshot. Nvidia’s Next AI Test: Can Cheaper AI Create a Bigger Market? 🚀

AI chip stocks are moving higher ahead of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang’s October 21 keynote at GTC Berlin. Nvidia gained 1.38%, Marvell climbed 4.06%, AMD rose 1.76%, and Broadcom advanced 1.78%. The market is looking for fresh signals about accelerated computing, AI infrastructure, AI agents and physical AI. But rather than focusing only on which company launches the most powerful chip, I think another question deserves attention: What happens when AI becomes cheaper to run? GTC Berlin Is Nvidia’s Chance to Prove the AI Trade Has Entered Its Next Phase

Nvidia rebounded 1.38%, with Marvell +4.06%, AMD +1.76% and Broadcom +1.78% as attention shifts to Jensen Huang's 21 October GTC Berlin keynote. NVDA is around $217. But I do not think another impressive GPU announcement is enough to move the stock materially. The market already believes Nvidia has great chips. What it now wants is proof that AI demand is broadening beyond hyperscaler training into inference, agents, enterprise AI and physical AI. That is what could reignite the trade. 🔵 THE NUMBER BEHIND THE KEYNOTE I am watching for evidence that falling inference costs are creating more total demand, rather than simply making existing AI workloads cheaper. That is the next Nvidia flywheel: Better compute → cheaper inference → more AI applications → more tokens → more infrastructure dema

My Take: Staying Calm and Finding Opportunities During the Latest Market Pullback. The latest market pullback reminds me of one important lesson in investing: the market does not always move in the direction we expect, and sometimes patience is more valuable than trying to predict every move. When I see stock prices falling, my first instinct is not to panic-sell everything. Instead, I take a step back and review my portfolio. Is the decline caused by short-term market sentiment, concerns about interest rates, or a genuine deterioration in the company's business fundamentals? Understanding the reason behind the drop helps me make more rational decisions rather than reacting emotionally to red numbers on my screen. One stock I would keep on my watchlist is NVIDIA (NVDA).
