I think the $150B buyback authorization is a strong signal of Nvidia’s confidence in its future cash generation. What stands out to me is that $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ can still invest heavily in AI infrastructure and R&D while returning significant capital to shareholders. The $21.3B quarterly free cash flow shows how powerful the business has become. For me, the key is not simply the size of the buyback, but whether Nvidia can keep growing earnings and free cash flow strongly. Buybacks can support EPS growth by reducing the share count, but I also want management to keep investing in Blackwell, next-generation chips, networking & the broader AI ecosystem. As a long-term investor, I would rather see Nvidia balance AI investment, strategic opportun

🌟🌟🌟 Can $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ catch up with $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ leadership after buying World Labs, the spatial intelligence pioneered by Dr Fei Fei Li? While this is a brilliant move by AMD, I believe it will not instantly break Nvidia's CUDA software moat nor bridge the immediate hardware gap. Instead of fighting a losing battle trying to clone CUDA, AMD's CEO Dr Lisa Su is building a vertical end to end open AI ecosystem.  This latest acquisition allows AMD to co design future silicon alongside the frontier software models that will run on them. The Verdict: Buy the Dip or Wait & See? It is good that AMD isn't burning through lots of money for this deal since it is an all stock transactio

🌟🌟🌟On Monday, while chip stocks were getting absolutely hammered by macro fears and whispers of AI hardware fatigue, $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ bucked the trend, ripping 1.68% higher. It was an amazing display of pure unadulterated market dominance.  When panic hits the market, the money runs straight home to NVIDIA. NVIDIA has just reminded the world that it owns the ultimate golden goose.  By flexing the biggest share buyback program in corporate history of USD 150 billion, CEO Jensen Huang kicked the bear thesis right out of the window. NVIDIA is no longer just riding the AI wave.  NVIDIA Is  The Wave!  As a long term investor, it is an incredible milestone.  It is the ultimate validation of NVIDIA's long term value.  M

🌟🌟🌟Monday was a brutal reminder that $Intel(INTC)$ turnaround is a marathon not a sprint.  While $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ was busy buying back its own weight in gold, Intel took a sharp 5.67% dive to USD 116.03. For investors who chased the spectacular 40% rally earlier this month, the sudden red candle feels like a splash of ice water. Let's be honest.  The valuation of Intel vs NVIDIA is not shrinking overnight.  Investors are looking at Intel's multi billion dollar foundry losses and realising that building an elite OEM chip making empire takes years. The market has the patience of a toddler.  So any pullback sends people running back to King NVIDIA. I believe this pullback is just a norma

BitMine crossing 6 million ETH is impressive, but the bigger story may be what happens after the accumulation. With 5.07 million ETH already staked, BitMine is turning a massive ETH treasury into a potential recurring-yield engine. The company currently cites a 2.62% annualized 7-day staking yield and projects about $358 million in annualized staking revenue. But investors should separate ETH appreciation from staking economics. A 2.62% yield sounds attractive until ETH falls 20%—staking income cannot fully offset a large decline in the underlying asset. That makes BMNR an interesting experiment: it is not simply betting on ETH’s price, but on ETH as a productive treasury asset. The real question is whether staking rewards can compound the treasury faster than dilution, financing costs an

A.  Treasury yields staying above 5% My vote is A — but the real signal is not the 5% number itself. It is whether 5% becomes the new floor. When Treasury yields stay elevated, stocks face a tougher hurdle: valuations must compete with a relatively high risk-free return, while corporate refinancing costs also rise. This is especially important for long-duration growth stocks whose value depends heavily on future cash flows. The bigger risk is the chain reaction: oil stays expensive → inflation remains sticky → rate cuts get pushed back → Treasury yields stay high. What makes this cycle interesting is that AI is not completely insulated. Hyperscalers have issued roughly $220 billion of bonds amid massive data-center investment, adding another source of borrowing demand So I’m watching

For me, the key takeaway is that this is not simply a stock-market problem. When oil stays above $100 and Treasury yields push above 5%, the risk-reward equation changes. I am watching yields closely because they can pressure valuations even when company fundamentals remain solid. I am still constructive on AI and semiconductors long term, but this environment makes selectivity more important. I would rather accumulate strong companies gradually on pullbacks than chase momentum, especially when higher rates can compress growth-stock valuations. For now, I am watching oil, inflation, the 10-year Treasury and earnings. My approach remains simple: patience, diversification and buying quality during weakness rather than reacting to the red heat map.

Vistra's 2027 Guidance Excludes The Two Things I'm Buying It For

Mathematical Money | September 29, 2026 $VST Here's a company whose adjusted EBITDA grew 31% year on year last quarter, trading two and a half percent above its fifty-two week low. I doubled my position in it yesterday. This is the reasoning, including the part that argues against me. No price target, as usual. The thing almost nobody accounts for Vistra has hedged roughly 100% of its expected generation for 2026. About 84% for 2027. About 58% for 2028. Read that again, because it decides everything else. Hedging means selling your output forward at a fixed price. It removes the risk of power prices falling. It also removes the benefit of power prices rising. So the entire "AI data centres are going to make electricity scarce and expensive" thesis — the reason anyone looks at this sec

Yields, AI Infrastructure, and the Tech Bull Market

Elevated Treasury yields are applying significant valuation pressure on tech stocks. We saw QQQ drops more than 1%. So in this article, we would like to share our comprehensive analysis of valuation pressure, balance sheet strength, and strategic ETF allocation to look at whether elevated yields would break the tech bull. 1. Introduction: The Yield-Valuation Tug-of-War The relationship between fixed-income markets and equity valuations has once again taken center stage. When benchmark sovereign yields climb, the gravitational pull on risk assets intensifies. Recently, a swift upward repricing in Treasury yields triggered immediate defensive selling across growth equities, pushing major benchmarks like the Nasdaq 100 tracking ETF ( $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$

Recent trading sessions highlighted profound intra-sector bifurcation across the artificial intelligence semiconductor landscape. While NVIDIA (NVDA) exhibited typical high-beta volatility—surging 1.68% intraday before succumbing to a broader sector selloff to close down 0.72%—alternative infrastructure plays such as Arm Holdings (ARM) and Broadcom (AVGO) demonstrated remarkable decoupling, gaining 3.58% and 1.58% respectively. High Interest Rates Last Longer: How Will I Invest?

The market has spent years getting used to the idea that interest rates will eventually come down. But what if they don’t come down as quickly as investors expect? That is the scenario I’ve been thinking about lately. A higher-for-longer rate environment changes the investment equation. It doesn’t necessarily mean avoiding stocks altogether. Instead, I think it makes valuation, cash flow, balance-sheet strength and earnings quality much more important. When money is expensive, companies have to work harder to justify aggressive expansion. A business that needs constant access to cheap debt can look very different when financing costs remain elevated. At the same time, companies with strong free cash flow and limited debt have more flexibility. For me, the biggest question isn’t simply: “Wi

🤖 The $1 Trillion AI Race: Who Actually Makes the Money?

The AI race is getting bigger — and much more expensive. In just the past few days, OpenAI pushed further into autonomous AI agents, Anthropic revealed enormous future computing commitments, $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ made an $8.2 billion bet on physical AI, and leading AI companies agreed to stronger safety controls. Meanwhile, hyperscalers continue pouring hundreds of billions into the infrastructure needed to power it all. For traders, the question is shifting from “How big can AI become?” to something harder: Where is all this money going — and who actually turns it into profit? 🧠 OpenAI vs. Meta: AI Is Leaving the Chatbox One of the clearest signs of AI's next phase came on September 29, when OpenAI unveiled Dots, always-on
🤖 The $1 Trillion AI Race: Who Actually Makes the Money?
TOP苏36: D. Whether AI can justify the spending The most important AI question is no longer how powerful the technology can become — it's whether the economy can keep up. Anthropic's reported $518 billion in future infrastructure commitments is a striking example of how capital-intensive the AI race has become. Meanwhile, hyperscalers are spending hundreds of billions on data centers, chips, networking and power. That creates a fascinating second-order trade: AI may be a technological revolution, but investors ultimately own cash flows, not compute capacity. I'd watchAI revenue growth versus CapEx, utilization rates, inference economics and free cash flowmore closely than headline model launches. The winners may not simply be whoever builds the smartest AI. They could be the companies that turn every dollar of AI infrastructure into recurring revenue — and eventually, real profit. AI's biggest test is no longer capability. It's return on capital. @WallStreet_Tiger [龇牙]
