The essence of technical analysis lies in quantitative summarisation and statistical observation of historical market behaviour, capital flows and crowd psychology. Price action and candlestick patterns reflect the power tug-of-war, liquidity build-up and risk preference between buyers and sellers at a given time and space. Whether it is the "bullish ascending triangle at bottom" or various moving average and channel breakouts, their function is never to "predict the future". Instead, they identify statistically favourable "high-probability windows" amid uncertain markets. Therefore, technical analysis is essentially probability distribution in statistics, not definite causal relationships why do many retail investors still struggle to profit in the market even after mastering technical pa

I would not call the DRAM floor from the share prices alone. The signal I want is pricing plus inventory. Interestingly, the underlying DRAM market still looks tighter than the sell-off suggests. TrendForce expects conventional DRAM contract prices to rise another 10–15% QoQ in Q4, while supplier inventories remain very low as capacity continues shifting towards server DRAM and HBM. So my floor signal would be when spot prices stop weakening, contract-price expectations stabilise, and PC/mobile inventories begin falling without suppliers increasing conventional DRAM capacity aggressively. That would suggest supply discipline, rather than simply another temporary bounce. The biggest risk is that HBM profitability encourages too much new capacity that eventually spills back into conventional

My top pick is $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ ! I remain bullish on TSMC because of its leading position in advanced chip manufacturing and its critical role in the AI semiconductor supply chain. As demand for AI chips continues to grow, I believe TSMC is well positioned to benefit from long-term industry expansion. For me, EPS growth is important, but I also look at revenue growth, profit margins, capital expenditure, and management’s forward guidance. Even if earnings beat expectations, I want to see whether the growth is sustainable and whether the valuation remains reasonable. My strategy is to hold quality companies for the long term and accumulate gradually on meaningful pullbacks rather than chase short-term rallies. AI demand re

EPS is calculated as a company's profit divided by the outstanding shares of its common stock. The resulting number serves as an indicator of a company's profitability. In my view, rising fuel and input costs could become a broader concern this earnings season, although the impact will vary across industries. Airlines are particularly vulnerable to fuel price swings, while manufacturers and logistics companies may also face pressure on operating margins if costs remain elevated. I will be watching how companies manage these pressures through pricing power, cost controls, and operational efficiency. Strong revenue growth alone may not be enough if expenses rise faster than sales. For me, sustainable earnings growth and healthy cash flow matter more than simply beating analysts’ expectations. At the same time, I will not assume that Delta’s disappointing results signal weakness across the entire market. I want to see more Q3 reports before drawing conclusi

Charts provide the evidence: The following is a multi-timeframe trend analysis for Tesla. Starting with the daily chart, the effective support level is $339, while the interim resistance level is $417. For long-term holding—viewed through weekly and monthly charts—the price target is around $700. With a current market capitalization of approximately $1.5 trillion, and considering Tesla's business positioning, evolving business model, and competitive advantages, its fair valuation is projected to reach between $2.5 trillion and $3.5 trillion within five years; a stock split (or similar capital restructuring) is likely to occur at least once during this period. Breakthroughs in solid-state, high-density, and high-capacity battery technologies are anticipated in the coming years; if the compa

TOP苏36: (TSM)$. TSMC is more than an AI stock; it is the manufacturing backbone of the semiconductor industry. Its advanced process technology and CoWoS packaging give it a strategic advantage as demand for AI accelerators grows. Q3 revenue surged 50% year over year to NT$1.49 trillion, reinforcing the strength of its underlying business. However, strong earnings alone do not guarantee further upside. With expectations already elevated, I will focus on gross margins, capacity expansion, capital expenditure, and management's 2027 outlook. Rising Treasury yields and geopolitical risks also deserve attention. My strategy is to judge TSMC by its ability to turn AI demand into sustainable free cash flow, rather than chasing short-term earnings surprises. For dividend investors, PNC is worth monitoring, but I believe TSMC offers a more compelling long-term growth story. @TigerObserver [龇牙]

Gold Near 4,100: Is This Another Dip-Buying Opportunity? Watch Oil Calendar Spreads💰📉

As the midterm elections approach, there has been a steady flow of signs of easing tensions in Trump’s foreign policy. First came renewed talks with Iran over the strait: although they have produced no result, the situation has not deteriorated further. Then came a Russia–Ukraine “energy ceasefire” over the weekend. Taken together, these developments suggest that Trump does not want any major upheaval before the midterms and is aiming to keep things as stable as possible. The latest U.S. CPI data will be released this week. As long as the reading does not exceed market expectations, the probability of a Fed rate hike at its October meeting is unlikely to rise much. We therefore expect markets to be broadly range-bound this week. Gold Is Back Near 4,100: Another Chance to Buy the Dip? As lo

Chip Stocks Are Falling While AI Demand Still Exceeds Supply. I Would Buy the Bottleneck, Not the Fear.

Last Thursday looked ugly for semiconductors. AMD fell 3.9% to $620.68. Nvidia lost 2.94%, Broadcom dropped 4.35%, while Intel fell 5.34%. AMD then weakened again on Friday, closing around $608. Normally, when stocks fall this hard, I ask whether the fundamental story changed. This time, Lisa Su gave us an unusually useful answer. AMD is planning a substantial increase in supply, yet management still sees demand exceeding what the industry can currently produce. Advanced wafers, HBM, packaging and other parts of the AI supply chain remain constrained. That creates a fascinating divergence: The stocks are pricing fear while the supply chain is still pricing scarcity. For me, that is not automatically a sell signal. It is a signal to become much more selective. Why Did Chips Sell Off Then? T
