So i love warren buffet, and read and own a copy of pretty much every book he has written. at 94 he has created a legacy that makes any investor envious. I only own berkshire indirectly though index funds, don't own directly because I don't see the sucession plan. Who will continue his legacy?  With the recent passing of charlie, i have concerns about the future of $Berkshire Hathaway(BRK.B)$. is warren planning to sell up everything and cash out the business and distribute the capital to shareholders? I think thats a possibility. Im not sure how American tax laws work, but i know the capital gains tax he would have to pay if selling his shares would be insane. Would it be more advantageous if warrens estate just received a massive

As we come to the tail end of the earnings season, there are still some notable names to take note such as NVDA, LOW and HD. I think Berkshire decision to trim their stock portfolio is based on uncertainty in the market. Before Trump took control of the office, I was going to inject new funds into my brokerage account, in a bid to increase my capital to make more trades. However, I changed my mind as I anticipate the votality and uncertainty in the market, which is clearly represented in recent times. I keep my cash components in money market funds, short term bonds and high interest savings account for liquidity, so that at any point of time when the market

Warren Buffett’s annual shareholder letter is more than just a recap—it’s a roadmap to market wisdom, offering insights into Berkshire Hathaway’s strategy, economic outlook, and investment principles. With Q4 earnings in focus, what key takeaways can investors apply to their own portfolios? 1. Market Cycles and Patience Buffett often emphasizes long-term investing over short-term noise. If his letter suggests caution on valuations, it could signal a more defensive stance in the current market. 2. Cash Reserves and Buybacks One of the biggest indicators to watch is Berkshire’s cash position. If Buffett is holding record cash, it may suggest a lack of compelling buying opportunities—a potential sign of market overvaluation. On the other hand, aggressive stock buybacks could mean he sees valu
Warren Buffett’s record cash pile signals his cautious stance on the current market environment. With valuations high and uncertain economic conditions, he’s waiting for opportunities to deploy capital at attractive prices. Buffett’s preference for maintaining liquidity reflects his strategy of capital preservation while seeking value investments. Historically, large cash reserves allow him to act quickly when market corrections create buying opportunities. This approach shows his disciplined risk management and long-term perspective. The cash pile could be a precursor to major acquisitions once market conditions improve.

Warren Buffett’s latest shareholder letter for Berkshire Hathaway’s Q4 earnings offers a fascinating glimpse into the 94-year-old CEO’s strategy. Despite selling off stocks and growing a record cash pile to $334 billion, the letter leaves investors curious—Buffett, known for his sharp equity picks, didn’t dive into why he’s holding back on major investments. Does this signal caution, opportunity, or a shift in approach? With BRK.A and BRK.B stocks showing mixed signals, it’s a moment for investors to ponder what’s next for this iconic portfolio. What do you think—should we expect big moves in 2025?

Berkshire’s monstrous ownership of cash has raised questions among shareholders and observers especially as interest rates are expected to fall from their multi-year highs. The Berkshire CEO and chairman in recent years has expressed frustration about an expensive market and few buying opportunities. Some investors and analysts have grown impatient with the lack of action and have sought an explanation why.Despite his repeated selling of stock, Buffett said Berkshire will continue to prefer equities to cash.

$MicroAlgo, Inc.(MLGO)$  could have gotten more, but I'm content enough with what I've walked away with. Next week's focus: $Berkshire Hathaway(BRK.B)$  and $Coinbase Global, Inc.(COIN)$   Will explore option plays for them [Victory]
he likes to donate to charity so maybe some portion of it will be gave away. another portion will be waiting for great opportunities. it doesn't have to be a correction, sometimes good companies fall for no reason. he can invest at anytime.

The market will follow his lead if only he shared half of his knowledge on making billions. Or even teach us how to make money! Lol
