Hi Tigers! 🐯 Let’s look at four names on the radar today. Some are holding constructive setups, while others need to reclaim key levels before the bullish case strengthens. 📈 $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ — The breakout remains solid above the 20DMA. A break below that average could open the way to the lower Bollinger Band, but there’s no reason to anticipate that move before the blue line breaks. For this week, keep 725.9 on your radar. 🎯 $Netflix(NFLX)$ — Yesterday’s analysis highlighted a constructive setup, and the follow-through delivered. The price action played out as expected. 💪 $Qualcomm(QCOM)$ — Wednesday’s resilience hinted at a bounce, and Thursday’s r
CXMT Scared Memory Investors, But 15 October Gave Us the First Clue the Market May Have Overreacted
What a difference a day makes. Earlier this week, memory looked almost uninvestable. CXMT's server DRAM expansion triggered fears that Chinese supply could weaken the scarcity economics behind the memory supercycle. MU, SNDK and SK Hynix were hammered. Then came 15 October. Buyers returned and memory stocks bounced. One green session does not make a bottom. But after such violent selling, I am asking a different question now: Has the market finally found a price where investors are willing to defend the memory thesis? I think we may be getting our first clue. 🔴 THE CXMT THREAT IS REAL, BUT THE MARKET JUMPED SEVERAL STEPS AHEAD The bearish argument effectively became: CXMT improves technology → production surges → DRAM supply rises → pricing collapses → Micron margins collapse. Possible? Ye
PPI Just Surged 1.3%. I Am Not Abandoning Tech, But My Traffic Light Has Changed 🚦
After CPI came in hot, PPI has delivered another inflation warning. September PPI rose 1.3% month over month, more than double expectations. Yet the market reaction is interesting: SPY gained while QQQ lagged. Money is not simply leaving equities. It is rotating. That makes this less about "sell everything" and more about deciding what deserves fresh capital. 🔴 RED: WHAT WORRIES ME The biggest problem is no longer one bad inflation print. We now have CPI + PPI pointing in the same uncomfortable direction. Persistent producer inflation can eventually mean: Higher input costs → margin pressure → sticky consumer inflation → fewer rate cuts → higher yields → lower growth-stock valuations. That is particularly uncomfortable for expensive AI and technology stocks. My red-light signal would
🚨 Inflation Is Back. Is the Rotation From QQQ to SPY Really a Safe Move?
September’s US producer inflation delivered an uncomfortable surprise. The Producer Price Index (PPI) jumped 1.3% month over month, well above the 0.6% economists expected. Annual producer inflation accelerated to 6.3%, its highest level since December 2022. Energy was a major driver, but the pressure wasn’t limited to fuel. Services prices rose 0.8% during the month, while prices excluding food, energy and trade services increased 0.5%. This raises a bigger question for investors: if inflation stays elevated, can money rotating out of technology stocks really find safety elsewhere? 📉 1. Why QQQ could remain under pressure The $Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ)$ is heavily exposed to large growth and technology companies. When inflation rises, investors may worry that interest rates will remain high
TSMC Beats Earnings, but AI Stocks Fall — The Real Test Is ROI
Record profits are impressive. Turning record investment into sustainable returns is the bigger challenge. TSMC just reported a record quarterly net profit of NT$763.1 billion, up 68.7% year over year. Revenue climbed 50.9% to NT$1.49 trillion, while operating margin reached 58.7%, beating guidance. The company also forecast Q4 revenue of US$52.3–54.3 billion. Yet TSMC and Nvidia shares fell. Why the disconnect? 1. Strong demand is not the same as guaranteed returns. TSMC is benefiting from demand for advanced chips, but its customers must still justify the enormous cost of building AI infrastructure. If AI revenue grows more slowly than computing costs, spending plans could eventually be reconsidered. 2. The investment bill keeps rising. TSMC expects 2026 capital expenditure of US$60–64
PPI Shock: The Real Risk Is Buying the Wrong Stocks
The market may be sending investors a warning: strong companies can still be vulnerable when inflation refuses to cool. September’s U.S. Producer Price Index surged 1.3% month over month, far exceeding expectations. Annual producer inflation reached 6.3%, while energy costs were a major driver. This raises concerns about business costs, profit margins and whether interest rates could stay higher for longer. So, should investors switch from QQQ to SPY? 📉 QQQ: Growth still has a price Technology and AI-related companies may continue to deliver strong growth, but higher interest rates can put pressure on valuations. When expectations are already high, even good earnings may not be enough to push share prices higher. 📈 SPY: Broader exposure, not a guaranteed safe haven SPY offers exposure to
Iggy’s Journal: 7 SGX Companies Report Between 22 and 29 October. What Each Could Tell You About the Payout
Iggy’s Journal: 7 SGX Companies Report Between 22 and 29 October. What Each Could Tell You About the Payout Fri 16 Oct 2026 | Afternoon The Numbers Seven SGX names are scheduled to report between 22 and 29 October, five REITs and two companies. The dates come from notices filed on SGX, and companies can change them. Frasers Centrepoint Trust said its gearing was 40.0% before the White Sands sale and expected 36.5% after the sale and a debt repayment. The 36.5% is management’s estimate, not a reported figure. CapitaLand Ascendas REIT reported gearing of 39.7% after a S$900 million unit issue, down from 42.0% in March. New units share the same income among more owners, so the question is what each unit receives. My Personal Take Lower gearing is the line most of us read as good news. Frasers
Company Background in Brief $PFE 20261218 30.0 CALL$ is one of the world’s largest biopharmaceutical companies, selling medicines and vaccines in oncology, immunology, rare disease and infectious disease. As COVID-related sales fade, the company is rebuilding growth through acquisitions such as Metsera and a deeper oncology pipeline. Why It's on the Watchlist (Key Growth Catalysts) Pfizer’s newer medicines are growing fast. Its newer medicines grew 18% in the second quarter and brought in about $3.2 billion. Two cancer drugs, Padcev and Lorbrena, led the way with growth of 23% and 37%. The patent worry is getting smaller. A patent stops other companies from selling cheap copies of a drug. Pfizer made deals with three gene

CXMT Targets Server Memory: Is the Memory Repricing Done? Here's What the Numbers Say, and Why I'm Not Selling Puts Yet Written Friday 16 Oct, SGT, after Thursday's US session. Last weekend in Shanghai, CXMT president Cao Kanyu said China's largest DRAM maker plans to launch a DDR5 RDIMM server module built on its new 4F² cell design by the end of 2026. A 4F² cell takes up roughly a third less area than the 6F² design the industry still uses, so you get more memory per chip. CXMT says it holds more than 300 patent families on the architecture. That's the headline. Here's what wasn't said: no speed, no capacity, no yield and no volume. It's a product launch target, not a commitment to mass production or to qualification at the big server platforms. The market didn't wait for the details. Fr
🚨 Apple’s $1,999 iPhone Duo: A New Growth Engine or an Expensive Experiment? $Apple(AAPL)$ is about to face an important test. Pre-orders for the new iPhone Duo open on 16 October, ahead of its 23 October release. Starting at US$1,999, Apple’s first foldable iPhone is making a bold bet: customers will pay a premium for a completely different smartphone experience. But the real question isn’t whether people think the device looks impressive. Can Apple turn a premium product into a meaningful new growth engine? 📱 1. The bull case: Apple could unlock a new upgrade cycle The iPhone Duo opens into a larger display designed for multitasking, gaming and viewing content, while retaining a compact outer screen. For existing iPhone users, this creates
🚨 TSMC Just Posted Record Profits. So Why Are AI Stocks Still Falling?
$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ delivered another blockbuster quarter. Yet TSMC and $NVIDIA (NVDA)$ fell as investors continued selling semiconductor stocks. If AI demand is so strong, why isn’t the market celebrating? 📊 1. The numbers are impressive TSMC’s third-quarter 2026 results showed just how powerful the AI chip boom has become: 🔥 Revenue reached NT$1.494 trillion, up 50.9% year over year. 🔥 Net profit hit NT$763.1 billion, up 68.7%. 🔥 Operating margin reached 58.7%. 🔥 Fourth-quarter revenue guidance came in at US$52.3–54.3 billion, above the previous quarter’s level. These aren’t the numbers of a business experiencing an obvious demand collapse. TSMC continues to benefit from demand for advanced chips used in AI infras
Apple’s Biggest Test Isn’t Selling a Foldable — It’s Changing User Habits Apple has launched a new form factor, but the real opportunity is bigger than a redesigned phone. The iPhone Duo opens into a larger display designed for multitasking, gaming and viewing content. Pre-orders begin October 16, with availability starting October 23 in the US. The question for $AAPL investors is whether this changes customer behaviour — not just what their phones look like. 📱 1. Can a phone replace some tablet use? A foldable screen could make reading, video calls and working across apps more convenient. If customers regularly use these features, the Duo may offer a compelling reason to upgrade. If they mostly use it like a conventional phone, the premium design may be less transformative. 🔄 2. Will de
TSMC Beat. The Dow Rallied. AI Hardware Still Fell.
The market: hotter producer prices moved money out of technology and into value sectors $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ rose 0.28 per cent to US$771.79 on Thursday, while $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ fell 0.13 per cent to US$728.00. September PPI increased 1.3 per cent from the previous month, above the market's 0.6 per cent expectation and faster than August's 0.4 per cent rise. Wholesale inflation reached 6.3 per cent from a year earlier, with energy prices the main driver. Renewed upstream price pressure reduced expectations for rate cuts and highly valued technology shares. The broad market did not fall with technology because money moved towards financials, consumer companies an
$MESOBLAST LTD(MSB.AU)$ A ridiculous steep fall this morning triggered my punt. The CEO/ founder bought a whole lot above $2.00... not bad for a morning's work. All the best, everyone!

Stocks to Watch Today, 16 October: After the Panic, I Am Watching Who Gets Bought First
Yesterday was about fear. Today is about relative strength. The Dow is up about 1%, the S&P 500 is positive, while Nasdaq is barely green. That tells me money is returning, but investors are not rushing blindly back into high-beta tech. After hot CPI, hot PPI, the memory selloff and AI deleveraging, I think this is exactly the market where having a shopping list matters. My five watches today: MU, CRCL, SNDK, NVDA and RZLV. 🔵 MU: My Highest-Conviction Rebound Watch MU remains the stock I am watching most closely. The CXMT scare changed the conventional DRAM story, but it has not yet disproved Micron's HBM thesis. The rebound on 15 October was therefore important. Now I need follow-through. 🟢 $930-$950: Recovery strengthens 🟡 $850-$930: Bottom-building zone 🟢 $800-$840: Preferred Pick i
