The stock is now trading roughly 64% below its 52-week high of $143.16, though still far above its 52-week low of $4.35. Crazy! Korea's market fell 17%, but the S&P 500 is up 1.2%!

The value of Trump accounts auto-investing in the S&P 500 keeps looking better. Semiconductors crashed, dragging Korea's KOSPI down 17% for the month. SOXX fell 9.5% for the month. But as of Friday premarket, the S&P 500 is up 1.2% this month. The chain selling that usually hits U.S. stocks after a sector crash didn't happen this time. To keep the index balanced, consumer and healthcare sectors are being pushed to the limit. The market makers are really working overtime to herd money where they want it. The popular story that Democrats sweeping the House would crack down on AI sounds reasonable. But guess which party Nancy Pelosi — Congress's stock-trading star — belongs to. 10/16 Strategy Preview | AI Cools Off, Money Runs to Safety

① What Happened Today AI computing power is being questioned. Earnings season will decide if the rally can continue. AI supply chain under pressure: The world's top 20 tech stocks lost over $1 trillion in market value this week. The market worries whether huge AI investments will pay off. Nvidia's Jensen Huang pushed back on the idea that the market relies too much on a few AI companies. He said compute demand also comes from businesses, cloud services, and traditional computing. Short-term focus: can Nvidia keep confidence in the AI supply chain steady? Tesla up over 3% premarket: The "flying supercar" Roadster was shown. The new car uses SpaceX rocket propulsion tech, showed mid-air flips, and is planned for 2028 mass production. The news boosts excitement about Tesla's tech innovation.

I see this as a valuation reset rather than the end of the AI story. AI demand remains strong, but investors are becoming more selective about capital spending, financing costs and cash flow. Growth alone is no longer enough when valuations are stretched. Personally, I would consider healthcare and consumer staples for diversification, as their earnings tend to be more resilient. However, I would not chase defensive stocks simply because they are outperforming. Valuation and cash flow still matter, especially in a higher-for-longer interest rate environment. For my portfolio, I prefer to stay disciplined rather than react to short-term rotations. I will monitor Treasury yields, earnings and technical levels while continuing to accumulate quality companies patiently on pullbacks. Consisten

I would focus on HBM rather than chase a broad memory rebound. SK Hynix still has the strongest technology and market position in HBM, while Micron may offer the more interesting catch-up story if it continues gaining HBM share and securing long-term AI orders. Micron has also said demand should exceed supply through 2027 and 2028, which suggests CXMT’s expansion may not immediately create an industry-wide glut. CXMT is a genuine longer-term threat, especially in conventional server DRAM, but advanced HBM remains much harder to replicate at scale. SanDisk and WDC could recover with strong data-centre storage demand, but that is a somewhat different AI infrastructure thesis and I would rank it behind HBM for now. My preference: SK Hynix technology lead > Micron HBM share gains > SanDi

Mkt reaction to TSLA's Thursday event, where the next-generation Roadster attached with SpaceX cold-gas thrusters & fan suction—was a mix of awe over the technical spectacle and widespread skepticism regarding its commercial viability. Still it exacted a reaction. So far, TSLA is poised to open higher on Friday (+3.98%).  Is redemption on the card? Whatever the case might be, stay cool and observe first.

TSLA Q3 : from EVs to Robotics, AI & FSD ?

@JC888:
$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ enters next week’s quarterly earnings announcement with (a) a delivery beat, (b) a still-expensive valuation, and (c) an unusually high burden of proof on its robotics & autonomy ambitions. The immediate question though is whether: Market will reward the operational resilience shown in Q3. Discount TSLA for slow progress in the businesses that now dominate its valuation. Deliveries beat, Elusive growth. For Q3 2026, TSLA delivered 486,532 vehicles, down by -2.0% YoY, but ahead of Bloomberg’s estimates of 463,761 vehicles and TSLA’s own compiled forecast of 462,000. After the announcement on 02 Oct 2026, shares rose more than +2.0% in premarket trading; proving that the company could still outperform despite the expiration

Honestly, I feel like I've unlocked the ultimate achievement of experiencing all 8 of these painful trading moments firsthand. From watching a stock rocket right after I sold to holding a bag after buying the top, the market always finds a way to humble us. The one that definitely hurt the most is #5: Big gains on paper… but now it’s red. Watching a position sit comfortably at +50% and refusing to lock in profits, only to ride it all the way down into a 10% loss, is a unique kind of emotional damage. Another classic facepalm moment is #7: Picked the winner... but bought too little. I remember nailing the research and picking a massive winner, but only putting in a tiny allocation, watching it surge +100% while my heavy-conviction positions stayed completely flat!

[Events] Tesla's Roadster Stuns. Will TSLA Take Off?

Tesla just made a car fly. Now comes the harder part: convincing Wall Street it can deliver stronger profits. $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ On Thursday, Elon Musk unveiled the long-awaited next-generation Roadster, complete with SpaceX-developed thrusters that allowed the car to drive upside down, flip through the air and land on its wheels. The prototype also demonstrated a 0–60 mph time of less than one second. Investors liked what they saw. Tesla shares jumped 4.4% in early premarket trading Friday, But there's a catch. The Roadster was first unveiled in 2017, initially promised for 2020, and isn't expected to enter production until 2028. Musk has also acknowledged that the sports car is unlikely to make a meaningful contribution to Tesla's finances. Th

Four Charts, Four Different Signals 📊

Hi Tigers! 🐯 Let’s look at four names on the radar today. Some are holding constructive setups, while others need to reclaim key levels before the bullish case strengthens. 📈 $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$ — The breakout remains solid above the 20DMA. CXMT Scared Memory Investors, But 15 October Gave Us the First Clue the Market May Have Overreacted

What a difference a day makes. Earlier this week, memory looked almost uninvestable. CXMT's server DRAM expansion triggered fears that Chinese supply could weaken the scarcity economics behind the memory supercycle. MU, SNDK and SK Hynix were hammered. Then came 15 October. Buyers returned and memory stocks bounced. One green session does not make a bottom. But after such violent selling, I am asking a different question now: Has the market finally found a price where investors are willing to defend the memory thesis? I think we may be getting our first clue. 🔴 THE CXMT THREAT IS REAL, BUT THE MARKET JUMPED SEVERAL STEPS AHEAD The bearish argument effectively became: CXMT improves technology → production surges → DRAM supply rises → pricing collapses → Micron margins collapse. Possible? Ye

PPI Just Surged 1.3%. I Am Not Abandoning Tech, But My Traffic Light Has Changed 🚦

After CPI came in hot, PPI has delivered another inflation warning. September PPI rose 1.3% month over month, more than double expectations. Yet the market reaction is interesting: SPY gained while QQQ lagged. Money is not simply leaving equities. It is rotating. That makes this less about "sell everything" and more about deciding what deserves fresh capital.  🔴 RED: WHAT WORRIES ME The biggest problem is no longer one bad inflation print. We now have CPI + PPI pointing in the same uncomfortable direction. Persistent producer inflation can eventually mean: Higher input costs → margin pressure → sticky consumer inflation → fewer rate cuts → higher yields → lower growth-stock valuations. That is particularly uncomfortable for expensive AI and technology stocks. My red-light signal would

🚨 Inflation Is Back. Is the Rotation From QQQ to SPY Really a Safe Move?

September’s US producer inflation delivered an uncomfortable surprise. The Producer Price Index (PPI) jumped 1.3% month over month, well above the 0.6% economists expected. Annual producer inflation accelerated to 6.3%, its highest level since December 2022. Energy was a major driver, but the pressure wasn’t limited to fuel. Services prices rose 0.8% during the month, while prices excluding food, energy and trade services increased 0.5%. This raises a bigger question for investors: if inflation stays elevated, can money rotating out of technology stocks really find safety elsewhere? 📉 1. Why QQQ could remain under pressure The $Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ)$ is heavily exposed to large growth and technology companies. When inflation rises, investors may worry that interest rates will remain high
🚨 Inflation Is Back. Is the Rotation From QQQ to SPY Really a Safe Move?

TSMC Beats Earnings, but AI Stocks Fall — The Real Test Is ROI

Record profits are impressive. Turning record investment into sustainable returns is the bigger challenge. TSMC just reported a record quarterly net profit of NT$763.1 billion, up 68.7% year over year. Revenue climbed 50.9% to NT$1.49 trillion, while operating margin reached 58.7%, beating guidance. The company also forecast Q4 revenue of US$52.3–54.3 billion. Yet TSMC and Nvidia shares fell. Why the disconnect? 1. Strong demand is not the same as guaranteed returns. TSMC is benefiting from demand for advanced chips, but its customers must still justify the enormous cost of building AI infrastructure. If AI revenue grows more slowly than computing costs, spending plans could eventually be reconsidered. 2. The investment bill keeps rising. TSMC expects 2026 capital expenditure of US$60–64
