Trump’s AI Push and Nvidia’s Rebound: Is the Rally Built to Last?

$NVIDIA(NVDA)$ A Silicon Valley Revival or a Bull Trap? After months of relentless volatility, Nvidia's stock is rebounding again — but not without controversy, complexity, and fresh geopolitical weight. While the broader semiconductor sector remains under pressure due to tightening monetary conditions and a cyclical tech pullback, Nvidia has caught a second wind on rising AI infrastructure investments and a political narrative that’s adding fuel to the fire. Former President Donald Trump, who is again in the spotlight ahead of the 2024 election, has made AI central to his campaign rhetoric — vowing to dominate the next era of technology, from quantum computing to machine learning. Whether or not these promises are realized, the narrative is havin

America's AI Action Plan: Four Major Investment Themes You Can't Miss Recently, U.S. President Trump released the 'AI Action Plan'. The plan proposes a package of policy recommendations and industry initiatives aimed at consolidating the global leadership position of the United States in the AI field. This plan revolves around three pillars: accelerating innovation, building AI infrastructure in the United States, and making American hardware and software the 'standard' platform for global AI innovation. Michael Krastios, Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, said in a conference call that all the policies outlined in the action plan can be implemented within the next 6 months to a year. Which industries are expected to benefit? Analyst Raymond James said tha
As much as everyone wants to see NVDA climb further, I'm in the belief that it will first fall to its support at $140-$150 before going higher once more. And I'd only add positions around this price range. It's skeptical how the red tape barriers all play out. Will Jensen be really able to sell chips to China? What if Trump starts some nonsense once more? Never know eh. You guys know how volatile Trump is. His mood is just like the weather. Unforseen. Unpredictable. And all calm may just be before the impending storm. @Emotional Investor  @Zarkness  @Mathematical Money

With Trump pushing a national AI agenda and companies racing to expand their infrastructure, capital expenditure is surging again — and Nvidia is back in the spotlight. After a volatile stretch, the stock is rebounding. But is this just a relief rally, or the start of a renewed bull run? What’s Driving the Rebound? Policy tailwinds: Trump’s AI push is expected to unlock funding, accelerate federal adoption of AI, and incentivize private sector investments — all of which mean more demand for chips. Capex surge: Major tech firms, cloud providers, and even startups are boosting spending on GPUs, data centers, and AI infrastructure. Nvidia remains a key beneficiary at the center of this ecosystem. Resumed China sales: Loosening export concerns and resumption of shipments to China add another s

AI Gold Rush: Hype, Mania, and the Cutthroat Race for Top Talent

There’s an old saying that history doesn’t repeat itself, but it often rhymes. For anyone watching the technology landscape in 2024 and 2025, it’s impossible not to see echoes of the dot-com boom and the crypto frenzy—except this time, the gold rush is for artificial intelligence (AI). The world has gone all-in on AI, and the excitement (and anxiety) is almost palpable. Seemingly overnight, AI has become the magic buzzword in every boardroom, earnings call, and investor presentation. Companies—big and small—are scrambling to bolt “AI-powered” onto their products, and entire industries are in the throes of transformation. Wall Street is obsessed. Silicon Valley can’t sleep. Every headline screams about breakthroughs, multi-billion dollar investments, and mind-blowing new models. But beneath

I am excited to see the $S&P 500(.SPX)$   hitting another record high, with Nvidia $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$   and AMD $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$   jumping over 2%. The news about Trump unveiling the "America AI Action Plan" to ease regulations and accelerate data center development is a significant boost. I believe this could create a favorable environment for tech companies like Nvidia, and I am optimistic about its potential impact. I view Alphabet's $Alphabet(GOOGL)$
I wouldn't count on it. Dead cat bounce much? FOMO? NVDA has potential to fall back to $140 where its support is strong. I'd wait till then.
Honestly Trump is rather erratic. Not sure if his AI plan is sustainable or if he will see through the entire plan. Later fall out with somebody for no rhyme or reason. Or slap some red tape barriers just because China and him don't see eye to eye. NVDA has run up quite a bit and I'd wait for the next opportunity.

TSLA go...Robotaxi go go...
The recent surge in NVIDIA—surpassing a $4 trillion market cap and rebounding alongside AMD—reflects not just strong sentiment, but also a reinforcement of structural tailwinds in the AI and data infrastructure economy. However, assessing whether this rally is sustainable or due for consolidation requires a closer look at both macro dynamics and company-specific fundamentals. --- 🧠 Key Drivers Behind the Rebound 1. Alphabet’s $10 Billion CapEx: A Bullish Signal Alphabet’s record CapEx is heavily AI- and infrastructure-driven, directly benefiting NVIDIA: Investment in TPUs, data centres, and accelerated computing implies continued demand for NVIDIA’s H100 and B200 GPUs. 📌 Chip Meltdown After Stargate Bust — Opportunity or Omen? 💥 Stargate shrinks. Musk fires shots. Semis tank. The $500B AI moonshot backed by OpenAI and SoftBank — dubbed “Stargate” — is officially downsizing. Elon Musk wasted no time slamming it as a “wasteful and misguided” project. Cue the chip wreck: $NVIDIA(NVDA)$   down 4%, $AMD off 5%, $TSMC, $QCOM, $MRVL all red. So… dip to buy, or smoke before the fire? 🤔 🧠 What Just Happened? Stargate was billed as a mega-scale AI supercluster — a “compute fortress” for frontier model training. But over the weekend, insiders confirmed the project is being scaled back sharply amid leadership disagreements and cost overruns. Elon Musk, never one to stay silent, blasted the initiative publicly
Skeptical Analysis: Stargate Shrinks, Chip Stocks Pull Back — Buy the Dip or Wait for a Crash Landing? There’s something almost cosmic about the recent drama in tech: a project literally called “Stargate”—with a planned $500 billion budget, OpenAI ambition, and SoftBank hype—has suddenly been shrunk to earthbound proportions. The news isn’t just a tabloid spectacle; it’s a mood shift for the entire tech sector. Disagreements over execution control and Elon Musk’s public ridicule have cast doubt not only on the megaproject’s future, but on the whole fever dream around AI infrastructure spending. On the same day, the U.S. chip sector—Nvidia, AMD, TSMC, and the rest—got hammered. For anyone watching, the question is urgent and loaded: is this just another “healthy” correction in a red-hot mar
